Build Your Own Business-ByBeck

I want to have my own little business. I have been really focusing on it for the last month – working on my website, my products, my social networks – trying to make everything ready to launch and trying to be part of the entrepreneur world. And in just this small amount of time, I can tell what is the biggest struggle I’m going to fight with.

Creating your own business is not easy, we know that for sure. There are a million things that are going to make the path hard, and if I asked you to name those things the list might look like this:

  • Money
  • Time
  • All the competition already out there
  • Not knowing where to begin
  • How do I find clients?
  • Tasks
  • Accounting
  • Balancing my personal life with my work time

And I bet the list can go on, but aside from all the above, for me personally, the one that’s going to be the hardest (and the one that might follow me all the way) is the voice inside my head.

I’m going to be honest here, I would have launched my business a month ago, but I didn’t because my “inside voice” kept telling me that I needed to be ready (and that I wasn’t ready yet). I guess it’s not that bad – it’s OK to make sure everything is prepped and ready- the problem is when u are ready and your voice tells you otherwise.

That little voice can become your biggest enemy; it’s going to tell you, loudly, your fears and doubts. Do these sound familiar to you?

  • What if you are not talented enough?
  • What if you fail?
  • What if the competition is better than you?
  • What if I don’t sell anything?
  • What if I can’t find clients?
  • What if nobody likes my product?
  • What if my content is not good enough?

Or what about this one:

  • What about if I get successful but I can’t manage it?

Please tell me I’m not alone here!

I’m new to this and I’m trying to figure out how to make peace with my inside voice – I don’t know if that’s even possible, I think she is going to be with me forever. But this I can tell you – having a board full of motivational quotes has helped me to keep moving, and this next February I’m finally going to launch my business :).
